I am sorry to report that my writing will be on hold for a brief period. My home was destroyed in IKE. That is the bad news. The good news is I am alive to tell you this information. A huge pine tree fell on my home. Many of my belongings, computers, etcetera were destroyed. I am very busy with insurance, city permits and contractors. I have briefly postponed my appearances also. BUT . . . I will be back!

Well I just returned from the Book Expo America in Los Angeles, California. What a wonderful experience! I met so many wonderful, wonderful, fantastic people and signed soooo many books. Book Expo is a grand experience. It is huge! There are so many booths and so many things to see and do. If you have not experienced it before, please think about it for the future.
Now my book, Evolution of a Sad Woman, travels to Toronto,Canada, for the Book Expo Canada. I hope all my Canadian readers will visit the Book Expo Canada. Sorry but I will not be there this year. Then my book travels to Anaheim, California, for the American Libray Association Conference. Again, I won't make it this year. Then, my sweet, little novel travels across the ocean to Frankfurt, Germany, to the Frankfurt Fair.
I want to thank the readers for dropping by the Book Expo America Trafford Publishing booth. It was so nice to meet you. I hope you all had an enjoyable time and a safe trip home.
Now I am back to work. I am continuing to write on two books at the present, the sequel to Evolution and another mystery-thriller with a sci-fi twist. I am almost finished with my sci-fi book. I do have some more book signinings at bookstores for Evolution in the works.
